Mindfulness for Stress Reduction at AltYou (Part 1)

Mindfulness is quickly becoming recognized by medical professionals as the top treatment for stress, anxiety and depression.

This 4 Week beginner's course is offered in two parts. Course dates for Part 1 are September 11, 18, 25 & October 2. The class meets on Monday evenings from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m.

You will learn how to:

  • Become more aware of what you need to do in order to manage stress

  • Live more at ease by activating your body’s natural relaxation response

  • Slow down a busy mind

  • Become more positive, focused, creative and effective

  • Develop calmness and acceptance while reducing stress

  • Avoid dwelling on the past or worrying about the future

  • Manage physical discomfort and pain

  • Change unhealthy habits

  • Improve relationships

Fee: $199 ($10 off for those who attended the intro session)
