The most experienced mindfulness guidance in WNY.
A practice that creates real, lasting change.
.
Welcome. I’m truly glad you’re here.
For nearly three decades, I’ve witnessed lives change through the practice of mindfulness. It began with my own discovery that this practice offers a dependable way to navigate daily stress and life’s unexpected challenges.
I live this practice every day and have shared it with more than a thousand students here in Western New York and around the world. Seeing how consistently it helps people learn to manage the stress in their lives and find their way back to feeling at ease with themselves and the world around them continues to fuel my passion for teaching.
You’re invited into my private, calming space. A place where time slows down, the focus is on you, and real change can begin with steady support.
If you’re here, something in you is ready for a shift, and I’m here to walk beside you.
“I highly recommend Maria’s guided mindfulness session to anyone who may be seeking a pathway to inner calm, personal growth, and a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them.”
—Travis C.
I’ve walked this path, and I know how to guide you through it.
My work is practice-based and experiential. Students who want to learn mindfulness commit to a three-month program, allowing them to develop a practice that moves from understanding to real, lived change.
I also work with individuals who come for support with a specific life challenge or circumstance. This is different from committing to the full practice; we focus on what is most relevant and present for you.
This work is different from therapy. Together, we focus on what’s currently happening in your life and explore how to apply mindfulness to your unique circumstances so you may experience real, lasting change.
I work primarily with one-on-one clients and small groups, ideally in person, though virtual sessions can be effective as well.
You don’t need to know where to begin.
I’ll meet you exactly where you are.
Mindfulness is a personal practice, but it’s not meant to be done alone.
When I began my own practice, working with a mentor helped me see beyond my blind spots and stay connected to the practice when my own understanding was exhausted.
Even after decades of practice and teaching, I still work with my mentors because my growth continues, and their guidance remains helpful.
This is what I offer my students: steady support, a clear perspective, and someone by their side when things feel confusing or overwhelming.
I’m also here to encourage and celebrate you as you break free from old patterns of suffering and experience moments of freedom.
If you’re feeling stuck despite your best efforts, you’re not doing anything wrong; you may simply be at a place where guidance can help.
I understand what you’re going through and what will help.
This is where our practice together begins.
“Working with Maria has positively transformed my life. Practicing mindfulness daily has made me a better person. It has also helped me heal from the grief of losing my husband/partner of nearly 37 years.
I am very grateful.”

Client Reflections
“The tools and knowledge Maria has given me have helped me tremendously. They have helped me personally, socially, and emotionally. Actually it’s been a game-changer. Mindfulness is a practice that could heal the world.”
— Danielle C. Buffalo, NY
“There are some people that might get you, but not offer strategies to help. And some people full of approaches, but they don’t really know you to a) know what you need and b) how you need to receive it to process it and implement. Maria is uniquely both. Maria’s role in bringing me mindfulness has proven a cheat code time and again.

During my time with Maria, I learned how to ‘reset’ daily and as often as I needed. I no longer had the need to self-medicate each week. I felt content throughout my day. My life at home was more fulfilling as I became more ‘present’ in my time with family. My life is infinitely better because of Maria and her teachings. I wholeheartedly recommend you take her course, as I know for sure it will change your life.”
